Yay Summer holidays! I love Summer coz that means lots of stuff:
No school (it isn't that bad..i guess?), long days spent lounging infront of the tv watching tennis, swimming, ice-blocks 9n lots of them), time with friends, going to the beach, movies, money (from work of course), SHOPPING, and my BDAY! Pretty good time really...well I have just got this information book about what I need to know before I go to Japan, coz on January 27th, I'm going to Bris-Vegas for an orientation day for the exchange! I should find out about my Japanese host family, city and school any time now, so I'm looking out for that! Well instead of flying on the 26th of March from Brisbane to Narita (Tokyo!), I'm now flying from Brisbane to Sydney on March 25th in the afternoon, then I'm going on an overnight flight from Sydney to Narita! I hope I can still see Mt Fuji, coz it will be about 6:30am by the time we get there. Now I have 3 days with everyone else in Tokyo: the first day will be spent shopping and sightseeing, and the next 1 1/2 days will be orientation, before I meet my host family - yay! Well exciting times ahead, and on Wednesday it will be 10 weeks until I fly out!
Can't wait, but I know the goodbye at Brisbane airport will be sad...not really looking forward to that! Enjoy the rest of the holidays everyone, still have 16 days before school starts.

Hey♥
Hey everyone..well the main reason as to why I have decided to start keeping a blog, is because I have been awarded a scholarship to go on exchange to Japan for 10 months in March 2009! I thought I would just record things leading up to my departure as well as whilst I'm away, just so i can look back and remember the experience fully...if that makes ne sense?
So yeah...I only have two and a half days of school left, and I've just found out that i only have three more lessons of Japanese left, before I won't be able to study it as a subject anymore, which isn't really very great at all...but neways..I've been awake for almost 18 hours so I should probably go and get some sleep...
